A National Sharing Workshop on Transforming Education Summit and Follow-up Actions was held today at the conference room of International Mother Language Institute (IMLI), Segunbagicha, Dhaka on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. The programme was jointly organized by Bangladesh National Commission for UNESCO (BNCU) and UNESCO Dhaka.

Dr. Dipu Moni M.P., Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of  Education, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and Chairperson, BNCU was present in the occasion as Chief Guest.

Mr. Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury, M.P., Hon’ble Deputy Minister, Ministry of Education, Md. Kamal Hossain, respected Senior Secretary, Technical and Madrasah Education Division, Ministry of Education and Mr. Farid Ahmed, respected Secretary, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education were present as special guests.

Mr. Md. Abu Bakr Siddique, respected Secretary, Secondary and Higher Education Division, Ministry of Education and Secretary General, Bangladesh National Commission for UNESCO (BNCU) chaired the programme.

Besides, the dignitaries and high officials of different GO’s and NGO’s were present in the programme. The programme was a continuation of response to the call of UN Secretary General and commitment by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh regarding Transforming Education.
